The Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer League (PAGS) and the United Sports Training Center are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual PAGS Player Development Center. The PAGS Player Development Center is designed for any player in the PAGS league to enhance their skill development throughout the winter and spring season. This program does not replace your club team; it is designed as supplemental training to improve a players overall technical ability.
The PAGS Player Development Program curriculum is designed by United Sports Training Center Staff. In order to provide more players the opportunity to train this year, the program will expand geographically to include Rocket Sports (King of Prussia and Hatboro) and Action Sports (Pottstown). The program will remain headquartered at United Sports.
The program will consist of twenty (20), ninety minute to two hour training sessions beginning the week after Thanksgiving and ending in mid-April. Throughout the program players will have an opportunity to be trained by several different licensed coaches, each adding their own area of expertise. In addition to on field training, players will receive education on topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, playing in college and many others. The same curriculum will be utilized at each of the sites. In addition, PAGS will form teams under the Tri-Star Club name to participate in various tournaments during the spring as a tournament team.
PAGS will conduct informational and sign-up meetings at The United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA on October 19th and 26th at 6:00. The cost for the training is $300.00, with an additional cost of $100.00 if you plan to play on a Tri-Star team. Detailed information regarding specific dates and times at each site will be on the website by 15 October.
