What is the PAGS NIKE Elite Development Program?
The Elite Development Program is designed to provide tactical and technical training in a professional environment for young players seeking to train at the highest level. The Elite Development philosophy focuses on learning the game the correct way at the earliest age groups in order to provide the best foundation for long-term player development and success.  The trainers teach all individual skills via the Brazilian technique.

 Where is the training held?
The Nike Elite training sessions will be held at the Far Post in Oaks, PA.  The sessions will be broken down into the following:

Who conducts the Elite Development Program?
Many local and regional coaches who have extensive club, high school and collegiate experience will run the Elite Development Program.

 How are Players Selected?
Registration for EDP will be by interest, there will not be tryouts. However, if after reviewing the child’s play they are not able to keep up with the level of play the trainers may suggest the child move to the Player Development Program.

How do I know if this program is right for my child?
The Elite Development Program is perfect for young premier-level players committed to learning the game correctly at the earliest age and training at the highest level possible.

 What does the program cost?
There are 2 sessions.  Each session will cost $500.  If a player registers for both sessions the fee is $950 if paid all at once, if paying by session the fee will be $500 per session.  There are multi child discounts and scholarships are available. Please contact Jim Pomilo for more information.

Is the Elite Development Program meant to replace other types of training in which players may be participating?
No. The Elite Development Program seeks to provide cost-effective, additional opportunities to the young, premier-level player to train and compete at the highest level. Many players will remain active with their current training programs while participating in the PAGS Elite Development Program.

What is available for players who aren’t interested in the Elite Development Program?
Players who are not interested in the Elite Development are strongly encouraged to participate in the PAGS Player Development program. Player Development program is designed to provide technical training in a professional environment for players looking to enhance their skills throughout the winter and spring. There are no tryouts for Player Development. (Click "PDP FAQ’s" below for more information) In addition, players who progress rapidly in Player Development many be identified at a later time for selection to the Elite Program.
